Distinguished Alumna — Angela Franklin

Class of 1998.

Bio: After graduating from the University of Kentucky, Angela moved back to Carroll County and built a home on her family farm, the fourth generation of her family to live there. Angela and her husband, Chad, have two children, both currently attending Carroll County Schools. Angela is proud to serve as an insurance agent in Carroll County, where she helps insure citizens and promote agriculture throughout the state.

Influence of Carroll County Schools: Classes in English, math and science prepared Angela for college and her career. However, practical classes, such as keyboarding, agriculture, home economics and driver’s education also contributed to her success. She feels that she was blessed during her time as a student in the Carroll County School District with teachers and administrators who were invested in the community and who truly cared about the success of their students.

We in the Carroll County School District are proud of our alumni, which is why we launched a project to highlight distinguished graduates of our school district. Distinguished alumni have a framed poster on the walls of each school to inspire current students to do great things with their lives.
