practical living. Carroll County Public schools serve 1844 Kindergarten =

12th grade students with a certified faculty of 146. The schools are =

grade level with Kathryn Winn Primary serving Kindergarten through P4; =

<P>Kentucky uses the Commonwealth Accountability Testing System (CATS) =
to hold=20
schools accountable for student progress. CATS has three parts: the =
Kentucky=20
Core Content Tests, the national Comprehensive Test of Basic Skills =
(CTBS), and=20
other measures, including attendance, retention and dropout rates. These =

elements make up a school=E2=80=99s CATS Performance Score for every =
two-year period.=20
The goal is that by 2014 nearly all students will score proficient or=20
