Our students do so many great things! As part of Mrs. Glenn's Leadership class students had an assignment to create a big goal to fill a community need. Students, Isabella Herald, Chasidy Henry, Kyleigh Pietrus, Willa Hall, Jaelyn Holbrook, and Jayden Marlette (not pictured), created care baskets to give to fellow students who might be having a rough day. These baskets were distributed to school counselors in Carroll, Trimble, and Gallatin Counties. As part of the ongoing assignment, these students plan to enter their project into the Lead4Change competition with hopes of winning a grant for their nursing program. Great job girls!

Pre-Nursing students at the Carroll County Area Technology Center used a game of Simon Says to learn range of motion exercises that are required skills in their Student Registered Nurse Assistant class/Medical Nurse Assistant class. The skills include range of motion for shoulder, hip, wrist and elbow. Students will take a certification test in December that, if passed, will allow them to begin working in their career field. They also practiced care skills such as feeding patients, transitioning from bed to wheelchair, helping dress patients and taking blood pressure.
