💪 Our Strength & Conditioning class is putting in the work! Students are mastering squats, lunges, step ups, calf raises, and ab exercises to build muscular strength and endurance—all while focusing on proper form, control, and safety.
✔️ Success = good technique, balance, and feeling those muscles work!
Proud of these Panthers for pushing themselves and training smart! 🏋️♂️🔥

📚 Our freshman classes are currently reading Night by Elie Wiesel, a powerful Holocaust memoir that offers a firsthand account of survival, loss, and resilience.
Students are exploring how Wiesel’s word choices—while simple at first—are full of emotion and deeper meaning. They're learning how just a few words can change the tone of a passage. It’s all about looking closer to understand the powerful impact of language. ✍️💭

A new initiative to improve safety at all high school athletic events was launched successfully at our first home football game on Friday. Please remember that all students below ninth grade must be accompanied by an adult to all high school athletic events. This applies to students from other counties as well as our students. All high schoolers must show their student ID for entry. All CCHS students get free admission with their school-issued ID badge.

It was a "black out" at Panther Field on Friday night as many turned out to support our students during the first home football game. The Panthers defeated Trimble County, the band played at halftime and the CCHS dance team performed a number for the crowd. (More photos on the District Facebook page.)
