The District 31 boys' and girls' basketball championship games are tonight at Carroll County High School. The girls game begins at 6 p.m. with the boys at 8 p.m. Trophy presentations and net cuttings will occur after each game.

CTE (Career and Technical Education) Month comes to a close with a spotlight on the pre-nursing students in the Carroll County Area Technology Center. They are shown demonstrating skills as well as showing middle school students what they learn in class.

The CCHS Panthers basketball team has advanced in the District 31 tournament for the first time in 12 years. Fill the stands tonight to cheer them on to victory against Gallatin County! Admission is $8 per person. Game time is 7:30 p.m. at CCHS.

The Carroll County Lady Panthers came up short last night in their contest against Henry County. Their season ended with a loss in the District 31 tournament. Congratulations to the Lady Panthers on a hard fought game.

The boys’ and girls’ district basketball tournament will be held at Carroll County High School this week.
The tournament opens tonight with Carroll County’s Lady Panthers playing Henry County at 6 p.m. and the Carroll County Panthers playing Trimble County at 7:30 p.m.
Spectators should park in the main parking lot by Carroll County High School and enter the building through the west side gym entrance. Doors will be marked with signage.
Admission is $8 per person per night. It will only be a cash gate. Children aged 4 and younger are free.
Coach, superintendent, administrator, school board member and officials’ cards will be accepted, but no plus one guest is allowed.
Fan seating will be assigned each night. No signs, posters or noise makers are allowed.
Game footage will be provided via Hudl exchange for each game.

On Mondays, staff members at CCHS normally wear shirts or hats promoting different colleges, often their alma maters.
Today, Mr. Henderson and Mr. Fremin decided to represent the trades with their high visibility attire typically required on construction sites as an important component of personal protective equipment (PPE). Mr. Fremin also has on safety goggles and steel toe boots.
The two are helping CCHS promote awareness of career opportunities for students and developing relationships with our community partners.

"The original Mona Lisa, by Leonardo da Vinci 1502 was painted over a four-year period, using one woman’s face and another for body and hands. It hangs in the Louvre, Paris, France.”
