
A hands-only CPR session is being offered to members of the senior class. This is an initiative through a Project Based Learning class. If interested, go to the maker's space on Nov. 18 during first through third periods.

Congratulations to our high school and elementary cheer teams for successful competitions! The elementary squad edged out Spencer County to become the Kentucky Association of Pep Organization Sponsors Region 8 champion. They will compete at the state level on Dec. 21 in Elizabethtown. The high school co-ed and game day squads swept first place in the Colonel Classic.



CCHS art students participated in the second annual Paint the Plow program sponsored by the Kentucky Transportation Cabinet. The plow will be used this winter by one of the trucks in the District 6 region, which includes Carroll County. The artists pictured include Savannah Wright, Helena Guy, Shay Richards, Keeley Stucker and Bailey Brock. Kyra Miller also helped paint the plow, but is not pictured. CCHS art teacher Jeremy Cobb helped the students create their design.

Mr. Cobb's art class did a project called "Paint the Plow".

The CCHS bass fishing team duo of Patrick Parker and Nolyn Glacken took home a second place finish at their recent competition held at Carrollton's Point Park. Congratulations to these Panther student athletes!

Carroll County Schools honored veterans today with a variety of programs, all of which centered on thanking those who have sacrificed so much for our freedom. Thank you to all who have served and to those who are currently serving in the military. Sgt. Bill Lewis spoke at two of the events, inspiring students to pursue their dreams and believe they can achieve those dreams. (More photos on the District Facebook page.)

Carroll County High School held an academic and athletic pep rally last week to recognize fall sports and students who achieved proficient or distinguished ratings on their state assessment.
The CCHS student council organized the event, which was held on Panther field. Students also dressed in costume and awards were given for the Top 3 costumes. Those who earned a proficient or distinguished score on the Kentucky Summative Assessment signed their name on a banner that will be posted in the school. Congratulations to all of these Panthers!
