CCHS art students participated in the second annual Paint the Plow program sponsored by the Kentucky Transportation Cabinet. The plow will be used this winter by one of the trucks in the District 6 region, which includes Carroll County. The artists pictured include Savannah Wright, Helena Guy, Shay Richards, Keeley Stucker and Bailey Brock. Kyra Miller also helped paint the plow, but is not pictured. CCHS art teacher Jeremy Cobb helped the students create their design.

Carroll County Schools honored veterans today with a variety of programs, all of which centered on thanking those who have sacrificed so much for our freedom. Thank you to all who have served and to those who are currently serving in the military. Sgt. Bill Lewis spoke at two of the events, inspiring students to pursue their dreams and believe they can achieve those dreams. (More photos on the District Facebook page.)
