Students were required to design and construct their city using recycled materials ♻️ while working within a strict timeframe. This challenge encouraged creativity, collaboration, and problem-solving while applying real-world engineering and STEM concepts.
In addition to building the physical model, students will also complete a written component and presentation explaining the sustainable features and design of their city.🌍📝

“All students in the middle school have the opportunity to use this program in conjunction with their grade level content in the core class. It is important for them to complete the MyPath because it will help ensure that they have the essential skills to be successful in high school,” explained CCMS Instructional Coach Mandy Young. Those who complete i-Ready move onto Khan Academy, which provides accelerated materials that are beyond their grade level.
Congratulations Pathers on your accomplishment!

Please note there is a chance April 2 and 3 could be used as make-up days. Students are expected to attend school March 30-April 1, 2026.

Carroll County Schools is looking for dedicated team members to help keep our students moving safely each day! 🚌
We are currently hiring bus drivers and a lead bus mechanic. These roles are essential to our district. Bus drivers are often the first Carroll County Schools team members students see each morning and the last they see in the afternoon, helping ensure a safe and positive start and end to the school day. Our lead bus mechanic plays a critical role behind the scenes, making sure every bus on the road is safe, reliable, and ready to go.
If you are interested in making a difference for our students and community, we would love to hear from you.
