To keep our games safe and fun for everyone, Carroll County High School has a few updated rules for athletic events:
👉 Students below 9th grade must come with a parent, guardian, or another trusted adult. If you don't have one with you, you won't be admitted and will need to call home for pickup.
👉 All CCHS students need to show their school ID at the gate. If you show your ID, you get free admission to all home games! 🎉 This is a great way to support your friends and classmates while keeping your ID handy. All CC students wearing school colors or Panther gear get free admission.
👉 Visitors from other schools will also be expected to show a school ID or driver's license if there's any question about grade level. Out-of-district students will still need to pay regular admission.
Thanks for helping us keep Panther Nation strong, safe, and supportive! 🏈⚽🏐

CCMS had 58 students apply for our student action team. Candidate selections were based on student application information and 7 Habits criteria. Leader in Me was on-site today at CCMS and students will be participating in a collaborative meeting with the adult action team for determining some of our school’s next action steps.

We 💛 our community partners! A huge THANK YOU to the American Legion Post 41 for always supporting our students and schools ✨. Their most recent gift of $5,000 💵🎉 to the Carroll County Middle School cheerleading squad to aid in purchasing their own set of cheer mats 📣🐾 will help our Panthers shine even brighter! 🌟

Today they hosted their first 5th grade seminar. Students led presentations on bullying, shared thoughtful discussions with their 8th grade mentors, and wrapped it all up with a lively game of Duck Duck Goose.
Our WEB Leaders are amazing role models—mentoring 5th graders, building friendships, and helping them feel supported as they begin their middle school journey.

The results will help connect students to career paths that match their talents and passions, and this is just the beginning!
They’ll continue exploring careers and building on this work throughout their middle school years.

Panther families, please review this letter from Mr. Jaynes regarding expectations for behavior at athletic events. Also, please remember high school students must present their school-issued ID to enter the game and students below ninth grade must be accompanied by an adult.
Athletic Event Expectations

We concluded our show with members of each house competing to see who could “run the gauntlet” the fastest. The challenges included a mummy race where students had to work together to get wrapped, run a short distance, and unwrapped so the next person could go. The second phase of the race was a speed puzzle challenge. The last part was leading your house through their house chants. Amistad, the red house, were the winners of today's challenge.
More photos from today’s assembly will be posted to Facebook.
Panther families, please review this story about new rules for high school athletic events.
