Carroll County Middle School hosted its annual Community Day, warmly welcoming local leaders and partners to the building. Guests were given tours by the W.E.B. Leaders, a group of eighth-grade students selected to be mentors for fifth graders and to serve as a student voice for CCMS.
āThere are a lot of good things going on here at Carroll County Middle School,ā said Carroll County Schools Superintendent Casey Jaynes. āWeāre trying our best to increase the opportunities for our kids and give them the opportunities to become successful citizens.ā
School administrators provided detailed overviews of the programs and initiatives that form the core of a studentās day at CCMS. A W.E.B. Leader also spoke about the valuable mentoring program and the positive difference it makes for students across the school.
CCMS Principal Dr. Robin Stephenson thanked the visitors for attending, emphasizing the ongoing commitment of her staff to cultivating a positive school culture for both students and staff. She highlighted how they have consistently watched the student body mature and grow throughout the year.
āThank you for taking the time to see a typical day at Carroll County Middle School,ā Stephenson said. āWe are proud of our students and staff.ā
The program wrapped up with community members getting to join a house, just like every CCMS student and staffer. The houses work together as teams throughout the year, students collect points for their houses based on their behaviors and the school holds monthly assemblies highlighting the houses and student achievement.

Carroll County Schools wrapped up its districtwide food drive today, and we are blown away by the generosity of our Panther families! You donated more than 4,000 items! š¾ā¤ļø Every item donated will directly support families right here in our community. š„«š¤
Missed your chance to give? The Carroll County Food Pantry is still accepting donations and will host a Stuff the Cruiser event on Nov. 22! šš Thereās still time to make a difference for neighbors in need. šš
