This project will allow extra room for mowers, golf carts and people to utilize that section of ground ššŗš¶āāļø. It could also become part of the cross country course that has been created on the opposite end of the pond šāāļøš³.
The platform is going to be a cantilever style with a handrail and ramps on each end š§°š.
The goal for all PBL/WBL students is to attain 300 hours of successful employment and be considered career ready at graduation šš¼. Those students who are career ready receive a notation on their diploma and a cord to wear at graduation šļøš.

The district, as a whole, received approximately 4,402 items valued at $1,500. šš°Those items were distributed among the schools for their school-level food pantries, which are used to fill Backpack Buddies and provide any other food assistance that students need. šš„«Thank you to the generous community partners at Family Worship Center. šāŖ
If you would like to make a donation to our Backpack Buddies Program, please contact Amanda New at 502-662-0590. šš¤
JAG is an elective class that helps equip students with the academic support š, employability skills š¼, and personal development š± needed to thrive in high school and beyond , whether they pursue post-secondary education š, enter the workforce āļø, or join the military . It focuses on career readiness, leadership development, and life-skills through project-based learning (PBL) and mentorship.
Students also have access to a specialist who provides mentorship š„, connects them to resources š, and tracks their progress for a full year after they graduate from CCHS š.
As part of their social studies unit, students used only natural materials they found on the ground, nothing living, to build miniature versions of Native American homes. š
Most groups created small teepees using twigs, leaves and moss. šļø
It was a simple, hands-on way to connect their lesson to the outdoors. š³š
A group of CCHS students and staff recently spent the day training to become Sources of Strength peer leaders. Students were chosen for their ability to uplift, support, and inspire their classmates. š¾ā
Through interactive games and activities, student and adult leaders explored the core components of Sources of Strength, discussed common stressors, and learned how to help peers tap into their own strengths to overcome challenges. š§ š
Weāre proud of these incredible Panthers for stepping up to make CCHS a stronger, more supportive community! šš¤š
