The Carroll County Middle and High School bands will entertain on the courthouse square on Friday, May 15. Join us at the Carroll County Courthouse on Highland Avenue to hear our talented student musicians perform. The concert begins at 6 p.m.

The group is creating a communication board to be placed in Carrollton. This will help children who struggle with vocalization to identify their needs. The CCHS seniors are using skills taught through the productive collaborator portion of The Panther Path.
Carroll County High School is looking for one female and one male student to represent our school at the Swiss Wine Festival in August!
This is a great opportunity that also includes scholarship opportunities through the program.
Interested students should complete the application forms and return them to Mrs. Beckham in the front office by 2:30 p.m. on Monday, May 18.
Please do not send paperwork to the Swiss Wine Festival office. All applications must be turned in to the CCHS front office.
After applications are received, interviews will be scheduled to select our representatives.

While the group did not move on to the top 20 state winners in Level 3, their performance was a major milestone for the school. This yearās team is officially the most successful STLP group Cartmell has had in the past five years. Congratulations to these young Panthers and their sponsors, Diane McCarthy and Leonela Morales!
Not only have they been successful in the state competition, they also organized a lengthy recycling campaign in which more than 1,100 pounds of aluminum was collected. This ranked Cartmell as the top recycling large elementary school in the Commonwealth of Kentucky. The school will also receive a check for $2,500 from River Metals Recycling.

The ELL team welcomed students and families to learn more about school grading systems, review recent test scores and explore helpful resources available throughout the district and community.
The event also featured several hands-on activities and community partners. iLEAD students showcased their drone projects, the high school Sources of Strength team shared ways they support peers, and The Hope Center provided physicals for students. Families also visited a variety of informational booths throughout the evening.
Thank you to everyone who helped make this a welcoming and meaningful event for our students and families!

Hello Carroll County Families!! Summer is right around the corner and the children will be out of school looking for fun and exciting things to do with their time. We want to make sure that our students continue to receive balanced meals, so our Nutrition Department is offering 10-day meal boxes again this year.
The summer feeding program provides each child in Carroll County ages 18 and under with 10 breakfasts and 10 lunches as well as milk for each meal. All items are shelf stable, so they won't take up space in your refrigerator or freezer. Just click the link below and fill it out to get your children on the pick-up listing. There is space for four children, so if you have more, you will need to fill out the form another time to list the other children. Once you fill it out, you remain on the list for the entire summer feeding program. You do not need to complete a form for every pick-up event. Click here to register: https://forms.gle/F94DYi9o7NBkMPAUA
Please note, meal boxes should be collected by the parent or guardian of the child(ren).

Carroll County High School U.S. History students participated in the second annual history museum showcase recently. Students selected a topic then created a display board and other supporting visual aids. They also gave a presentation about their topic and answered questions from adults and their peers.
