The Carroll County English Language Learners Department hosted an ELL Family Dinner & Fun Night recently. Through gracious donations of community members, families with students in the English Learners Program were able to enjoy a relaxing time at Camp KYSOC.

Kathryn Winn Primary held an End of Year Beach Bash on the last day of school. Children were treated to face painting, bouncy houses, snow cones, books and other gifts. (More photos will be posted on the District's Facebook page.)
The Carroll County High School Senior Field Day was a big hit! Seniors played soccer, football, cornhole, had a three-legged race and water kickball. They were also treated to a lunch of hamburgers and hot dogs prepared by the Carroll County Detention Center. (An album with all photos will be posted on the district's Facebook page.)
Five Panthers made the 31st District All-Tournament Team following the baseball and softball tournament, which was completed last night. The Panthers baseball team was runner-up in the tournament and will advance to regionals. The softball honorees are Brooklyn Rose and Brinley Couch while the baseball honorees are Brannon Battaglia, Landon Isaacs and Coy Willhoite. Congratulations to all!
Eighth grade students received academic and some special awards during a ceremony this morning. The eighth grade graduation will be held tomorrow at 1 p.m. in the CCMS gymnasium. Tickets are required for the event.
Cartmell Elementary School held a special field day today for the members of Reveur House. This crew raised the most money for the Walk-A-Thon. The funds will be used to purchase new playground equipment. Students were treated to games in the gym, doughnuts, a dance party and sidewalk chalk drawing.

CCHS Seniors received their cap and gown today following honors day. The seniors were also treated to a slide show of their classmates featuring baby photos and senior photos.
Congratulations to the Carroll County High School kitchen staff for their recent award from the Kentucky Department of Education. (The full story can be found here: https://www.facebook.com/kydeptofed.) The kitchen staff includes Susie Smith, Lillie Evans, Sheila O'Neal, Chasity Heilman (manager) and Vicki Perry.
Kathryn Winn Primary students hosted moms and mother figures today. They gathered in the gymnasium for statements from a few children then went to classrooms, where they made a craft together.
